This year we're presenting 3 inspiring discussions with KC and Midwest natives working in different aspects of the film and television industries. All programming is included in single or weekend passes for Maker Faire KC!

10:15AM - 11AM
Heidi Gardner, member of The Groundlings' Sunday company and actress in Sony's upcoming SuoerMansion, will discuss the ins and outs of breaking into LA's improv and sketch comedy community, why having representation is important and other tips for aspiring actors and comedians.

11:15AM - 12PM
Zeb Wells, writer/director of Adult Swim's Robot Chicken and showrunner for the upcoming SuperMansion starring Bryan Cranston, will discuss his career in comic books and television, what it takes to build a career in the business and his upcoming series for Sony's Crackle network, SuperMansion.

12:30PM - 1:15PM
Sean Hackett, writer/director of the 2011 KC Film Fest's Best Feature Homecoming, will discuss the indie film landscape, how to put together an indie film project, thoughts on distribution and much more!
